Legal Marketing Association (LMA) members have been offered the opportunity to stake early claims for web sites ending in .law.
The generic top level domain (gTLD) is owned by Minds + Machines (LON:MMX), which both owns and operates gTLDs, and is dedicated to lawyers and law firms worldwide.
In addition to submitting early expressions of interest in particular web site addresses ending in .law, LMA members will have access to the “.law” management team to answer questions and discuss this new gTLD at the 2015 LMA Annual Conference, April 13-15, in San Diego.
“LMA is the most prominent legal marketing organization in the US, and we are honoured to share our vision with their membership,” said Lou Andreozzi, chief executive of .law.
LMA executive director Betsi Roach described participating in .law as “a once in a lifetime opportunity”.
Shares in Minds + Machines (LON:MMX) were up 2.5% at 8.25p in afternoon trading.
